Mooting Society

Mooting aims to inculcate and improve the research, presentation and argument skills in students, to equip the budding pleaders with quintessential courtroom etiquettes, research experience and advocacy skills. At Lloyd law College, mooting is a key co-curricular activity and the society is very active and effective by a team of dedicated Moot Court Society members including students and faculty members. The Society not only trains students for mooting but also for trial advocacy which comprises of application of law to a common set of evidentiary assumptions/situations and involves actual testimony by witness or the presentation of evidence. The students, selected through an internal selection process, are trained to represent the College in all national and international Moot Court Competitions.
