Mrs Aakanksha Malhotra did her BALLB (HONS) from Panjab University Chandigarh, where she was throughout scholar at academic level. She did her Masters in law (LLM) in Intellectual property rights and Business Laws from National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal. Further she also did a certificate course in Intellectual Property Rights from Indian Law Institute (ILI) Delhi.

She cleared All India Bar Examination (AIBE) in 2013 and Currently she is pursuing her PhD from National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL) Ranchi, in the topic Rights if the Accused in International Criminal Law. Apart from academics she has an overall four years of court experience where she practiced at district courts of yamunanagar, Haryana and also practiced at Panjab and Haryana High Court at Chandigarh and also at Delhi High court and Supreme Court.

She had an opportunity to participate in various National and International conferences especially at Harvard Law School at Boston in 2009, where she represented the country Liberia. She also participated in Oxford Brookes Conference etc.

Apart of it, she was also awarded various certificates of excellence in academics and she also won various awards and debate competition and was also awarded as the best speaker by the Law Minister of India in 2011. Further she also had an opportunity to judge a moot competition at Chandigarh University, Chandigarh.
