Every Time we talk about Youth of India, the very first question that comes into mind is that is India’s youth moving in right direction and where the future lies for next generation. The answer is to some extent we are in right direction but to take the pride of India’s Youth being the best, a lot more is needed.
To understand the concept of Youth, study of a child is the best method because the every child in the society learn from parents at first and at next stage learns from society and environment in which he lives in and the behaviour at the time of entering the age of youth describes the future behaviour of that child and in which direction he is moving forward.
Good Behaviour Lies in Good Direction of a child but Good Future depends upon good direction provided.
A youth is an Individual who moves out from being dependent in Childhood and get prepare itself for self-dependency with certain growth of mind and maturity level. To understand the same in easy way it is age gap between childhood and adulthood.
Youthism (ageism) at literal meaning is said to be difference in age gap in society and prejudice to earlier generation thoughts but it is not completely true. In reality, youthism basically relates to behaviour of an individual.
But if we study youth and Youthism as behaviour, any person is a youth who is young and dynamic at mindset, full of enthusiasm, ready to face challenges and take new opportunities, understand the modern philosophy of life not at the cost of traditional values and tradition but implementing modern thoughts with the goods of tradition.
In Today’s modern Times, Youth of India faces lots of issues and challenges in making their future i.e. youth is not able to take carrier related decisions because there is interference of parents, prior to higher education there is check and control of their activities on regular basis but once they enter into college they receive lots of freedom which results in wrong decisions due to lack of maturity, there is lack of moral values, sometimes due to lack of understanding the difference of good and bad young generation gets influenced by bad section of society due to which they start taking drugs, smoking, alcohol etc. There are so many issues we can look upon like changes required in education system, limited control and check mechanism over young generation and the list goes on.
To resolve all such issues, there is requirement of certain changes i.e. for carrier related options, elderly peoples must let their child take decisions as per his interest, there must be check and control(to some extent) over their child in case of behaviour and freedom provided. Child should be thought from young age about joint and nuclear family and their priorities. In such ways, a lot more can be done which can give a bright future to young generation.
Lloyd Law College attempts to provide the youth, the next generation that are studying at Lloyd Law College, best law colleges, a voice and a platform to improve upon. For example the Lets Talk Incubation Center allows students to intermingle and interact with the most eminent thinkers of our times.
