Biography

Dr. Mohd Faisal Faisal is an experienced Assistant Professor at Lloyd Law College, specializing in Economics. He has been teaching Economics to B.A. LLB & B.Com. LLB Students for the last 3 years. Before joining Lloyd, he worked at SRMS College of Law, Bareilly, enriching his teaching experience. He also has teaching experience in Indian Economy to UPSC Prelims students at Residential Coaching Academy, AMU. Dr. Faisal holds a PhD in Economics which he completed in 2020 from AMU, Aligarh. He qualified UGC-JRF (Economics) in 2014 and was the recipient of Junior & Senior Research Fellowships from UGC, India. Dr. Faisal’s research focuses on various economic aspects, including Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Development Economics, Econometrics, and Poverty, with a particular emphasis on multidimensional poverty. His dedication to research is evident in his publication record, with ten Research Papers published in reputable peer-reviewed journals, including three in the prestigious UGC Care journal list. He actively participates in Seminars & Conferences, presenting his work. Dr. Faisal has completed online certificate courses on ‘Introduction to Statistics’ from Stanford University and ‘Designing a Multidimensional Poverty Index’ organized by UNDP & Oxford University.
