Biography
Dr. Mohd Faisal is an Assistant Professor and teaches Economics at LLOYD LAW COLLEGE. Dr. Faisal has completed his B.A. (Hons) Economics and MA Economics from the Aligarh Muslim University. Further, he has been the recipient of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) from the University Grant Commission, India. He was awarded PhD from the Aligarh Muslim University in 2021 and the topic of his Research was “Multidimensional Poverty in India: A case study of Aligarh District”. His area of research majorly focuses on development and related policy implications especially on Multidimensional Poverty and Income Inequality. At present serving Lloyd Law College, diligently in accordance with the assigned duties.
Experience
Dr. Faisal has briefly taught as an Assistant Professor at SRMS College of Law, Bareilly. Prior to that, during his PhD he taught Economics for more than 2 years on part-time basis at National Competitive Academy (NCA), Aligarh. Further, he has taught Indian Economy to Civil Service Aspirant at Residential Coaching Academy, Aligarh Muslim University.

- Completed 6 Weeks Self Pace Online course on “DESIGNING A MULTIDIMENSIONAL POVERTY INDEX” organized by Oxford Poverty Human Initiative, University of Oxford, offered through the UNDP.
