Biography

Dr. Shyamalima Kashyap is as an Assistant Professor of English at Lloyd Law College, Greater Noida, since August 2022. She has completed her Ph.D. in English Literature from Amity University, Noida on the topic ‘Countering Female Hegemony: A study of Male Subjugation in the works of Ken Kesey, V.S. Naipaul and Gillian Flynn’. She has also completed her Masters and Bachelors with honours in English Literature from the very same University.

With over 6 years of experience in research and teaching, her areas of expertise lie in Gender Studies, Soft Skills Training, and Business and Corporate Communication. In her span of teaching experience, she has also conducted and organised conferences and chaired sessions for the same. She has published research papers in various Scopus and UGC indexed journals. Her major strengths lie in her ability to use effective communication in various situations with keen observance to human behavior.

As an educator, Dr. Shyamalima envisions herself dedicated to fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. Her vision encompasses the synthesis innovative teaching methodologies, and a commitment to nurturing the intellectual and personal growth of her students.

She also aspires to be a catalyst for curiosity, inspiring students to question, analyze, and think critically about the world around them. She hopes for creating a classroom where ideas flow freely, and students feel empowered to express their perspectives while engaging in respectful dialogue. Through interactive and experiential learning, she aims to bridge theory and practice, instilling a deep understanding of the subject matter and its real-world applications.
